Ulysses Foundation
Ulysses Foundation
Collaboration with UNWTO

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is a specialized intergovernmental agency of the United Nations assisting Member States with the formulation and implementation of tourism policy as well as serving as an agora for public and private tourism stakeholders. All founding trustees of the UlyssesFoundation have served UNWTO in different capacities over the years and most of them have received the UNWTO Ulysses Prize or a UNWTO Ulysses Award for top contributions to the theory and practice of tourism. There is therefore a special relationship between the UlyssesFoundation and UNWTO, which results in commonly held approaches to many tourism issues, and collaboration in areas such as the Ulysses Prize and Awards, the Ulysses Forums and specific projects.
